About Monarch Civil & Plumbing
A licensed plumber and drainer in Austral who quotes the job, does the job and answers the phone afterwards.
- Owner-operated
- 13+ years
- Own plant
Monarch Civil & Plumbing is run by Paul, a licensed plumber and drainer with our base in Austral, working across South West Sydney. Monarch Civil & Plumbing has been trading since 2022. Thirteen-plus years in the trade, across residential plumbing, sewer and stormwater drainage, and NBN pit and pipe as a subcontractor to Ventia and Service Stream, with a Class B asbestos removal licence for the old asbestos-cement pits that work turns up. Paul is in Wollongong and the Illawarra regularly for that work, so plumbing jobs there get booked around it.
The business is deliberately small. Paul quotes the job, does the job and answers the phone afterwards. That's the whole model: the person who understands what's under your house is the person you're talking to.
It's also a business with its own plant. A Komatsu PC18 mini excavator means a sewer that's collapsed under a Fairfield backyard or a stormwater line for a new granny flat in Leppington gets dug the day it's diagnosed, without a hire yard or a subcontractor's margin in between.
We service roughly 20 km around Austral, weighted toward the Macarthur region (Leppington, Edmondson Park, Oran Park, Gregory Hills, Narellan, Camden, Mount Annan, Campbelltown and Ingleburn) and the Liverpool-to-Fairfield corridor: Liverpool, Casula, Prestons, Hoxton Park, Green Valley, Cabramatta and Fairfield.
And it's a family business, which is a large part of why the quoting is the way it is. Nobody in this house would be happy paying for a repair a cheaper fix would have covered, so we don't sell them.

How we quote
Inspection first, then a price, then your OK. Options with prices when there's more than one way to fix something: jetting versus digging, repairing a hot water system versus replacing it. And a straight answer when the cheap fix is the right one.
The rest of the promises, from the guarantee to how to pay, are on our how we work page.
